We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory processes within our cannabis dispensary.
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions, implementing effective inventory control measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the Assistant General Manager is to support and assist with Retail service responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire inventory process, from receiving to storage and distribution of cannabis products.
Assist, support, and when necessary, manage retail service responsibilities, including administering discounts, handling returns, and responding to customer and employee concerns.
Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Stay current with local and state regulations pertaining to cannabis inventory management.
Ensure all inventory activities comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
Collaborate with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.
Utilize inventory management software to track, manage, and analyze inventory data.
Work with the IT department to optimize and enhance inventory management systems.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and trends.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with various departments, including cultivation, production, and distribution, to ensure seamless inventory operations.
Communicate effectively with team members to address inventory-related issues and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as an Inventory Manager, preferably in the cannabis industry.
Strong understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with METRC and inventory management software and systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
