We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist II in Dracut, MA.
Position Summary and Special Duties:
As a (an) CNC Machinist II your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:
We have Prototrak mills and lathes made by Trak Machines.
The mills are manual 2 and 3 axis machines.
Machinists must be able to program with conversational software, Prototrak has their own brand of software.
Must have a strong background in math and blueprint interpretation.
Should have knowledge of six sigma and ISO 9001 process controls.
In this position you will Set-up and operate a full range of bench and machine tool equipment such as a knee mill and engine lathe.
Perform general milling operations, turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and grinding, etc.
to fabricate metal parts.
Perform preventive maintenance on all machines.
Perform tramming.
Perform work involving unusual set-ups, close tolerances, and critical interrelated dimensions.
Work from sketches, preliminary drawings, blueprints, or from verbal direction from engineers Plan, layout, and perform work on assignments including all types of machine and hand operations, fitting, adjusting, and checking dimensions to very close tolerances.
Provides feedback on engineering drawings to design and quality engineering.
Ensure that quality requirements are met.
Perform peer inspections.
Meet delivery schedules.
May be required to improvise, use shop tools to make special and unusual adaptations of common machine tools.

Experience:
High School Diploma, preferably from a technical HS Knowledge of ISO process controls You should have a technical HS Diploma along with 1-3 years' related experience.
