Dispensary Team Lead -
Job Description:
The Dispensary Team Lead is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the dispensary sales floor including leading a dynamic team, providing excellent customer service, and communicating effectively while staying compliant with State laws, rules, and regulations.
This individual should have a passion for cannabis, be energetic, have a positive attitude and are willing to work hard.
The Dispensary Team Lead will perform, as well as assist in training employees.
Dispensary Team Lead Core Tasks and Responsibilities - Adhering and implementing the best operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Assist in training and directing the dispensary team.
Inspire the team to deliver the best customer experience.
Educate the Team about cannabis products and consumption methods.
Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both customers and employees.
Maintain an in-depth industry wide knowledge of products and strains in Massachusetts.
Conduct opening/closing inventory counts for each shift.
Assist in cash handling procedures as required.
Ensure the dispensary remains compliant with security, inventory and local and state regulations including effectively leading state inspectors through the facility.
Assist maintaining records for all necessary documents such as employee timekeeping-related documentation, disciplinary action reporting, supervisor/manager opening and closing checklists, delivery and inventory manifests, inventory counts, and creating new or updating existing customer profile information.
Additional duties as assigned.
Dispensary Team Lead
Qualifications:
Dispensary Team Lead Education - High school diploma or GED required.
College Degree preferred but not required.
Proficiency with Windows 10 and basic computer navigation.
Dispensary Team Lead Experience - At least 2 years of proven retail management or supervisory experience is required.
At least 5 years of proven customer relationship management experience (CRM software or equivalent retail supervisory experience) is preferred.
Previous cannabis industry experience is preferred.
Experience with Leaf Logix, or other seed-to-sale POS preferred.
Dispensary Team Lead Physical Requirement/Work Environment - Retail work environment.
Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 30 pounds.
This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching.
Additional Requirements - Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Reliable transportation.
