We are currently seeking a Oribital Welder I in Dracut, MA As a (an) Oribtial Welder I your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to:
Responsibilities:
Perform orbital welding of tubing and components.
Work with stainless steel only.
Set up and calibrate power supply with the correct welding program.
Weld together metal components of products such as piping systems, pipe and tube or structural shapes, using arc and arc gas welding equipment.
Read electro-mechanical diagrams, drawings, and work orders.
Maintain regular checks on welding equipment ensuring that machines are operating properly.
Work towards Dakota welder certification training.
Plan work and selects proper tools working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects.
Manipulate parts to match print and dimensional specifications.
Complete parts to acceptable standards ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma from a Technical HS0-2 years orbital welding experience in a manufacturing environment Essential Skills and Attitudes Required:
