Electro/Mechanical Assembler, Temp to Hire
Our client near Lowell/Dracut area is seeking Electro/Mechanical Assemblers for semiconductor equipment.
We have clients in Salem, MA - Billerica, MA - Dracut, MA and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
-Perform a variety of semi-repetitive operations to assemble precision electromechanical products where methods and sequence of assembly are described by production planning or detailed written instructions -Reads connection diagrams -Work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process -Assemble fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units using hand tools and small power tools to assemble units -May perform sub-assembly tests to meet tolerances and product specifications -Drilling and tapping skills; familiar with use of squares, levels, and calipers -May interface with engineering and quality departments -Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor -May require computer to record work in process -Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations Desired Background/Skills:
-HS Diploma or equivalent required -1-3 years' experience in electro/mechanical assembly required within a semiconductor environment -English verbal, reading and writing communication skills required -Communicate effectively and respectfully with a diverse population -Excellent organizational skills, possess interpersonal, customer service skills, be adaptable and thrive in fast paced settings -Prioritize work efficiently and effectively, and maintain composure in stressful situations -Function as part of a team -Perform simple shop math -Good computer skills in a windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office Other Information:
